First Blog in Ultimate Fantasy Guru History

This will the the initial blog in this sites history, with many to continue. I hope to give anyone needing assistance with fantasy football, basketball, and baseball related issues the help that they need to improve their teams for the week and hopefully their years. I will update injuries as much as I can and post weekly ranking systems based upon my knowledge of these particular sports. I assure you that I know my sports. I have been very successful in all leagues I have played in over the years. I would rank my knowledge of the three sports as 1. football 2. basketball 3. baseball. Hockey I know nothing about so I cannot help you there.

For the first blog I will talk simply about fantasy football. In terms of matchups for this week it appears at this point Vince Young will definitely get the start this week. Start him if you got him but Tennessee may run the ball all day against Oakland limiting Vince's chances. I have a feeling though that he will rush one in himself this week though.

Marc Bulger breaks out this week for 300 and 2 TD against the Browns

Ben Roethlisberger against the Bengals is a must start

Steven Jackson finally getting back on the field this week against the Browns. If the Rams are going to win a game this year this may be the one and this just might be the week for Jackson against the lowly Brown defense.

Rudi Johnson appears to be staying on the sideline again this week in a big game against the Steelers. Even if he sees the field, he will split carries and against the Steelers may not do anything anyhow.

Deangelo Williams appears to be a safe play this week if you need help at RB. DeShaun Foster sounds like he will get the start but with his turf toe may be out early and we may see more of DeAngelo and coming off a big game in week 7 this might be his week to take that job over.

Kevin Jones has taken the Detroit job and will run with it, and in that offense appears to be a #1 or #2 RB each week regardless of the matchup

Deshawn Wynn appears to be a safe call this week against Denver and may go over 100 with a TD

Braylon Edwards will continue his Pro-Bowl season with a big game against the Rams

Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes against the Bengals are a must start

Laveranues Coles will tear up the Bills but is a game-time decision at this point.

Kellen Winslow against the Rams #1 to start for the week.

Heath Miller against the Bengals (basically anyone against the bengals)

Defenses ---Giants, San Diego, Tennessee, Tampa Bay.

Check back tommorrow for more and next week we will get to start from Tuesday and talk a little basketball as well.
